Yesterday a friend of mine sent a picture of his five-year-old granddaughter, who spent a week in the basement before her daughter's family managed to escape from the systematically destroyed city. Fortunately, the child's cheerfulness overcame the danger of psychological shock. The grandfather is a two-time refugee. He lost his home back in 2014, and his next one, already inhabited by this war.
I write as a potential refugee from a people who have been driven around the world for thousands of years. Many times we have been almost exterminated, but not to the point of being hated and blamed for our troubles. Now you are doing the same thing to the Ukrainians. You failed to notice their genocide through the Holodomor just as you later failed to notice the Holocaust. You have allowed the Moscow Moloch to murder its population with impunity in thousands of death camps, in fact. You have armed the real Moscow Nazism against yourselves in the long run.
